I came up with the idea of using simple 3D shapes as a device to create a world and a visual style for the Approved Used section of VW cars offering. It was always designed with the idea that these elements could be used to hold messaging and create an element of interactivity between the 3D modelled cars, the environment and the messaging.
To help further segment the offering the shapes and colours can be varied to indicate whether there are offers or electric vehicles for sale. The final image below was created by the retouching team, but some of my initial visuals and exploration can be seen below.


Below are some examples of early exploration of different shapes, colours, compositions and different car angles. I created the initial 3D visuals before handing over the background image to be created alongside the cars for more consistent lighting.
