National Lottery
Tokyo Olympics
My role: Conceptual Designer
Agency: Cain & Abel
For the Tokyo Olympics there was a two part campaign that started with The National Lottery brand and then switched focus to a big Lotto Jackpot event.
The National Lottery campaign supporting the British athletes and getting behind Team GB was huge cross Retail, Digital TV and Radio. For in-store formats I created a large retail toolkit to help people understand how their play would support the athletes. I created the illustrations, being careful to manage all the restrictions surrounding the use of the Team GB and Paralympics GB logos.
During the Olympics the in-store merchandising switched to a Lotto Retail toolkit which was supported by a huge Jackpot. I created new gold, silver and bronze confetti and retouched in medals onto the Lotto balls to create a new and dynamic toolkit. These assets would also form the basis of a digital toolkit around this big event.
